The Wallace Guest House
Overview
Summary
On a spring day, nearly a century ago, what would later become The Wallace Guest House opened its doors. Built by Victor Bredt in 1907, the Bredt Hotel soon began offering lodging and meals to country customers for a mere 25 cents. In 1914, he sold the hotel to the Wallace family whose roots can be traced back to a plantation in Virginia. Soon, the business prospered in the small, but bustling, town of Marble Falls. And a local hotel legend was born.
